The School
Facilities - Oficina de Portugues is equiped with wireless internet, a computer always available for student use, a library, a self study lounge, reception with coffee machine, tea kettle and occasionally some Portuguese pastry! All our classrooms benefit from direct sunlight and are modern and airy.
Staff - All our teachers have a degree in language teaching and are trained at Oficina de Portugues in order to follow our own method and materials.They are all student centered, communicative and focused professionals. Our common purpose is to plunge with you in the Portuguese language and culture.
Method - Communication based.
location - The school is located in a renewed building in the most important commercial street in Porto, Rua de Santa Catarina! We’re 5 minutes away from the nearest Metro Station, Bolhão, and 10 minutes from São Bento train station. You can easily get to the river district, Ribeira, in a 15 minute walk!

Classes are often held outside from school providing the students with an opportunity to test their oral skills with native speakers in local markets, stores or restaurants.

Materials - Our teaching materials are composed of class books, work books, authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines or TV shows and films according to your level.
